A Week for the Record Books

The restaurant had the best week all year despite the economy and all the bad news in the world. We also had a great celebration for the holidays, we had so much fun and have the pictures to prove it! There were plenty of great gifts that gave us tons of laughs (unfortunatley most are not family blog appropriate) and plenty of drinks to go around!

As for me and Gillian, we had another doctors appointment and everything is going smoothly still! Her heart rate is going at a strong 150 bpm and while I didn't gain any weight in the last two weeks my belly sure is getting bigger by the day! The doctor said that her head is down sitting on my bladder - I can certainly feel that - and her bum is resting on my right side underneath my ribs. She's been getting the hiccups just about everyday and she's still a mover and a shaker! Here's the latest picture of the 8 month belly!

Scott and I leave bright and early Sunday morning to head to New Hampshire to spend Christmas with my family and according to the weather it will be a balmy 10 degrees for a high the day we arrive! The highs throughout the week look like they'll be in the teens and we'll probably have some storms as well - guaranteed white Christmas!
