Conclusion of the Baby Shower

I know you are waiting with bated breath so the conclusion of the baby shower saga is that no baby had a  bath but I certainly had another glass of wine. We were so late in setting up everything but the happy parents-to-be loved their family collage, the food and their gifts. I think they are set up for diapers for a good time, have tons of clothes and all the good necessities plus plenty of the unnecessary. As for Otis the butter eating dog, he's yet to expunge his loot (thank goodness) and fortunately he's sleeping outside these days so I hopefully won't have to clean up any mess.

My husband was busier than expected and so a little grumpier than expected and I am so very thankful for everything he did because his food was the hit (not mine, dang it). However, the cupcakes did pass the official test of the prego, WHEW! It was crazy hot downstairs in the wine cellar and I think I sweat out the wine I had before the shower and I'm now making up for it and am very happy that I have such wonderful family and friends. These special events really bring out who you love and who loves you and there's nothing better than that. I unfortnately was so busy that I didn't get a single picture of the event but hopefully someone will pass along a picture that I can post for you guys so you can see my madness. As for now, that concludes the mommy diaries for today. I'm sure I'll be back soon with some other nutty story of our lives to share and this time with pictures to prove it!
