The Baby Diaries

So far I have to say Gillian is a very good baby, she sleeps well most of the time and only cries when she's hungry. Even though she sleeps well Scott and I are still exhausted, I'm not sure if you ever get used to getting up in the middle of the night to feed, change and pump. Despite the lack of sleep I am having a ball with her, she's just so adorable and has some of the sweetest facial expressions and makes the most precious sounds - I dread going back to work. She's a regular at the restaurant and everyone loves her visits which makes it easy for me because I get instant baby sitters.

We were supposed to have some pictures taken this past Monday but our photographer was sick so next Monday we'll have our official photoshoot. Here is the latest picture of Gillian at her first Superbowl party - obviously she could care less about the game.

Otis is still a bit crazy around Gillian and we're working with him daily on how to be a good big brother. He's so maternal and protective and that's wonderful, however, he's just a bit too rough with her. Everyday he's getting better and better and eventually we'll get there, he just has to learn to leave her be and to sniff gently.

The weather this week has been pretty cold and we even got a touch of snow tonight. This weekend we're supposed to hit the 60s so I think that's a perfect temperature to take our first shopping trip! It's never too early to learn the joys of shopping!
