Valentine's Day, Take Two

Round two worked out much better and the three of us were able to spend the day together visiting family. Gillian met her great-grandparents for the first time and she was very good only crying once when she was hungry. We all came home and Scott got some much needed relaxation in and Gillian and I baked him those cupcakes.

As you can see she wore herself out and crashed out pretty hard after all of her hard work making her first batch of cupcakes. They turned out to be quite delicious and I'm having a hard time keeping away from them! Gillian is so proud of herself she's already planning what cupcake she wants to make for St. Patrick's Day.

The upcoming week is going to be very exciting for her as my family is coming to town to meet her for the first time. My mom will be in on Friday and then my dad, brother and sister-in-law come the following weekend. I'm very excited to show her off and this will be the first time for everyone to eat at the restaurant - they're in for a tasty treat for sure. Hopefully the weather will warm up so we can enjoy the outdoors some too. Until next time, everyone have a great week!
